Job Bagat, president of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), has praised Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, for improving security and promoting inclusive governance in the state.
Bagat spoke on Thursday during a visit to Sani at the government house in Kaduna.
He commended the governor for addressing insecurity, promoting good governance, and prioritising human and infrastructural development.
The ECWA president noted Sani’s use of non-kinetic measures to tackle security challenges and his partnership with the Nigerian Army in fighting banditry as “proof of his commitment to the state”.

“The improved security situation in the state has particularly paved the way for a more conducive environment for businesses to thrive,” he said.
“People now have the confidence to go about their legitimate businesses, especially in the urban areas, without any fear.
“I believe that once you commit to sustaining this tempo, peace will permeate all nooks and crannies of the state in the near shortest possible time.

“Generally speaking, all citizens of Kaduna state now have a sense of belonging under your administration.”
Bagat said ECWA appreciates Sani’s focus on the welfare of Kaduna’s people and his commitment to fairness.
“Indeed, you are an activist who fights for the masses under you and for the enthronement of true democratic ideals in contemporary society,” he added.

“I am glad to commend you for remaining within the terms of the oath you took upon your assumption of office, to be just and fair to all.”
Bagat also praised the governor for ensuring fairness in awarding projects and appointing officials, particularly in southern Kaduna, an area he said was overlooked by previous administrations.
“By this, you have given succour to other parts of the state such as the people of southern Kaduna, who were almost totally neglected by the immediate past regimes,” he said.
In response, Sani thanked the ECWA president and his team for the visit, assuring them of his administration’s commitment to fairness and equity for all citizens, regardless of ethnicity or religion.
