Victor Osimhen and Napoli have been drawn with Real Madrid in Group C of this season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage.
The draw, held on Thursday at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, sees the Italian league winners placed alongside the 14-time UCL champions, with Portugal’s Braga and Germany’s Union Berlin completing the quartet.
The matchup will see Super Eagles of Nigeria’s Osimhen face Real Madrid over two ties.
The draw, co-conducted by Eric Abidal and Joe Cole, Barcelona and Chelsea legends respectively, also threw up a tantalizing match-up between Bayern Munich and Manchester United in Group A. FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray are also drawn in the group.
