UCL: Guardiola returns to Camp Nou

Bayern Munich coach, Pep Guardiola, will return to former club Barcelona after the two European giants were drawn together in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

Guardiola won 13 trophies as a manager – including the Champions League in 2009 and 2011 – during four years at Barcelona. But this will be the first time he will be facing the team he played for and managed during his career.

The sides met in the semi-finals two years ago when Bayern hammered Tito Vilanova’s Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate on the way to winning the trophy.

The other last-four tie sees Juventus – in their first semi-final since 2003 – face Real Madrid, the defending champions.

In the Europa League, holders Sevilla face Fiorentina while Rafael Benitez’s Napoli are up against Ukraine’s Dnipro.

The first legs will be played on May 7 with the return matches a week later.
