Arsenal have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League (UCL).
At the draw held midday on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, the London-based club was paired with the German side for the final eight of the premier European clubs competition.
Arsenal lost 10-2 on aggregate to Bayern in the second round of UCL in 2017. The season was the Gunners’ last appearance in the competition until this campaign.
Real Madrid and Manchester City have also been paired against each other. The two teams met in the semi-final of last season’s edition. The English club blew the 14-time champions away 5-1 on aggregate.

PSG will take on FC Barcelona while Atletico Madrid will play Borrusia Dortmund.
The first legs of the quarter-finals will take place on April 9 and 10, with the return legs happening on April 16 and 17.
The first and second legs of the semi-finals will thereafter follow on April 30 and May 1, and 7 and 8, respectively.

The UCL final will be hosted at Wembley Stadium, London, England on June 1.
