Manchester City scored two late goals to secure a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) encounter at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
John Stones cancelled Jude Bellingham’s opener before Erling Haaland volleyed in to win it for Man City against his former club.
The host toiled in the first half and went behind 11 minutes into the second half, as Bellingham found the net with a glancing header for the lead.
A flurry of substitutions followed but Pep Guardiola’s side had to wait until the 80th minute to level the scores, with Stones, the unlikely scorer, before Haaland punished the club from which he made a high-profile transfer to City.
