Galatasaray scored twice in the second half to stun ten-man Manchester United 3-2 in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage match at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
A brace for Rasmus Hojlund was not enough as Galatasaray piled more misery on the club with another home defeat, three days after suffering a similar fate in the league.
Manchester United took the lead through Hojlund’s header from a Marcus Rashford cross, and the Dane would restore the home side’s lead with a well-taken strike after Zaha, a former United player, had levelled for Galatasaray.
It went downhill for United thereafter, with Casemiro conceding a penalty kick and receiving his marching orders for a second bookable offence.

While Mauro Icardi failed to score from the spot in 78 minutes, he netted the winning goal for Galatasaray three minutes later with a well-taken strike.
Man United are rooted to the bottom of the group with consecutive defeats.
It was also a shock defeat for Arsenal in France as RC Lens secured a historic 2-1 win over the Gunners.

The French side went behind following Gabriel Jesus’ early goal but responded with a goal in each half to secure a famous victory.
Real Madrid also triumphed 3-2 in a blockbuster encounter against Napoli.
Jude Bellingham, with a fantastic solo strike and assist, was the star player in a match Victor Osimhen failed to influence.
