Manchester City came from a goal down to claim a 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in their UEFA Champions League (UCL) encounter at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus cancelled out Kylian Mbappe’s opener as Pep Guardiola’s side qualified for the knockout phase while finishing top of group A.
All goals came in the second half of the entertaining encounter, with Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. combining for Mbappe to slot beyond Ederson Moraes on 50 minutes. Sterling slotted in the equaliser 13 minutes later before Jesus completed the turnaround on 76 minutes.
Man City have accrued 12 points from five matches while PSG, losing for the first time in the UCL this season, also qualified in second place with an unassailable eight points.

Liverpool also won 2-0 at Anfield, defeating FC Porto with two second half goals from Thiago Alcantara and Mohamed Salah.
The Reds maintained their 100% record in the group stage, matched only by Bayern Munich and Ajax Amsterdam.
