Real Madrid, the 2022 UEFA Champions League (UCL) winners, have been paired with Liverpool in what will be a repeat of last season’s final.
The knockout stage draw for the UCL took place on Monday morning as the teams in the round of 16 found out their opponents.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Bayern Munich will also fight for a place in the quarter-finals.
The Qatar-backed PSG will host the first leg as they continue to seek a first continental crown against the German champions and perennial UCL winners.

Manchester City, another mega-rich side seeking their first UCL crown, will face RB Leipzig while Borussia Dortmund will slug it out against Chelsea.

The UCL round-of-16 first legs will take place on February 14-15 and 21-22, with the second legs on March 7-8 and 14-15.
