Last season’s top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), Mfon Udoh, is not in a hurry to quit the domestic league for a stint abroad.
Though the 22-year-old Enyimba striker would love to play outside the shores of the country someday, he said he won’t jump at any offer.
“I am not in a hurry to leave the Nigerian league and for now I remain an Enyimba player,” he told sl10.ng.
“If I get a good deal, surely I will move because that is the dream of every player in the Nigerian league but like I said, I am not in a hurry. I want to take my time before I make a decision and if it happens now, fine.”

Udoh also said Emem Eduok situation will serve as a lesson to him and other players in the league.
“I’d be lying if I say his situation hasn’t taught me a thing or two, but I must say it is not just about Emem. He made a mistake and it could have been any of us. But its life and we keep learning,” he said.
