Diezani Alison-Madueke, Nigeria’s former minister of petroleum, was released on Friday after being detained for several hours.
A magistrate court granted her bail application but her passport was seized while she was asked to report at the Charing Cross Police station on Monday.
The newly formed International Corruption Unit of UK National Crime Agency arrested her alongside four other persons in London.
The agency said the arrest was part of an investigation into suspected bribery and money laundering offences.

While she was being detained in the UK, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided her Asokoro residence in Abuja and seized some documents before sealing the house.
