We have uncovered Diezani’s $37.5m Lagos mansion, says EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has uncovered $37.5m property on Banana Island, Lagos, which Diezani Alison-Madueke allegedly acquired through a shell company.

The anti-graft agency disclosed this in a statement it shared on Twitter on Saturday.

A shell company is usually a dormant company used for questionable financial activities.

Alison-Madueke, a former minister of petroleum, has been in the UK since former President Goodluck Jonathan left office.
