Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo, has condemned the attacks in the state, saying the residents do not deserve to be victims of such violence.

There have been attacks on government buildings in the state, leading to the killing of several security operatives and residents.

The most recent attack occurred on Sunday, when gunmen attempted to invade the police command headquarters.

“I know it is not easy. We are paying the price of the callous nature of some people and the hostility we don’t deserve that is being visited on our people.

He also encouraged the people of the state to go about their activities without fear of molestation, adding that his administration is committed to ensuring the safety of residents.
