VIDEO: Wike, Amaechi’s security aides face-off in Rivers

The security aides of Nyesom Wike, Rivers state governor, and Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation clashed on Saturday along Trans-Amadi road in Port-Harcourt.

Both men have released statements with varying accounts of what resulted in the confrontation.

While Wike says he was attacked by Amaechi’s security aides, the minister said he narrowly escaped being shot by the governor’s security personnel.

Wike and Amaechi, who hardly see eye-to-eye, are the political bigwigs in Rivers state.
