The CAF Confederation Cup journey of Aba Elephants came to an unplanned end on Wednesday following a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Morocco’s Raja Casablanca.
Fatau Daudu’s herd, the only Nigerian club left in the continental engagement, lost in both legs to crash out.
The second leg semi-final fixture in Casablanca ended 2-1 in favour of Raja.
The Aba Elephants had lost the first leg 1-0 at home and needed a 2-0 result to qualify for the final.

Zakaria Hadraf capitalised on an error by Enyimba’s defence, rounded goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai before tapping into an empty net on 45 minutes.
It went from bad to worse in the second half when Enyimba defender, Isiaka Oladuntoye, turned a cross past Afelokhai to score an own goal.
Abdulrahman Bashir pulled a consolation goal back for Enyimba but they were unable to muster a comeback.

Raja Casablanca will now play AS Vita Club in their first final of the CAF Confederation Cup and their first final in CAF competitions since 2003.
The first leg will come up on November 25 in Casablanca with the return fixture is billed for Stade des Martyrs, Kinshasa, DRC, on December 2.
