Under the scorching sun, hundreds of supporters of Omoyele Sowore, publisher of Sahara Reporters and a presidential aspirant, converged on the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to await his arrival from the US.
When he landed, the overwhelming welcome put airport activities at the arrival lounge on hold for at least 10 minutes.
Sowore, who is in Nigeria for a series of rallies and town hall meetings, told his supporters that he could run Nigeria better than the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari, even in his sleep.
Here is a video of Sowore’s homecoming.
