Some private security personnel have been deployed to protect #EndSARS protesters in Ikeja, Lagos state capital.
The move was made after suspected hoodlums attacked the protesters around the state house of assembly gate on Thursday.

The protesters are demanding the prosecution of all officers involved in the abuse and killing of citizens, as well as a total reform of the police force.

The state government was accused of hiring the thugs to disperse the protest, an allegation it has since denied.
