A contingent from Nigeria has arrived in Germany to participate in the 2023 Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event with participants including wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.
It is organized by the Invictus Games Foundation, which was founded by Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex.
It is the first time Nigeria will be partaking in the games. Nigeria is also the only African country in Dusseldorf for the sports festival taking place at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.
