VIDEO: New NDDC leadership is responsive to issues affecting Niger Delta, says aide

Udengs Eradiri, special assistant on youths to the interim managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), says the agency’s new leadership is responsive to issues affecting the people.

In a live Facebook chat, Eradiri called on the people of the Niger Delta to support the new NDDC management under the leadership of Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua.

Audu-Ohwavborua was recently appointed as NDDC’s interim managing director.

“I feel it is important to talk to youths in the Niger Delta, that there is new leadership that is responsive to the issues that affect the people of the region,” Eradiri said.

“I will use the opportunity to call for support. Niger Delta people must give their support, because the new leadership is different from where we are coming from.

“There has been so much negative news about the NDDC. We have a duty to ensure that whatever that comes out of the region now is one that is in the interest of the people.

“Audu-Ohwavborua has hit the ground running already. He has dealt with workers wages that were owed. SETRACO is on the East-West road carrying out repairs as a result of the damage caused by the flood, at the instance of the NDDC.”
