Members of the Civilian JTF, a vigilante outift in the north-east, arrested four suspected insurgents in Malari village at Konduga local government area of Borno state on Wednesday.
Some villagers, who identified the suspects, alerted the security group, which moved in to apprehend them.
They were paraded before Kashim Shettima, governor of the state, who was on a condolence visit to the community that suffered an attack from the sect on Monday.
Nuhu Kumshise, a member of the vigilante group, briefed journalists on the operation that led to the arrest.
