Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn against Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
In the draw ceremony which was held Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Sale on Friday evening, the Super Falcons are placed in group B for the biennial football continental showpiece.
Nigeria qualified for the competition after trouncing Cape Verde 7-1 on aggregate in the final round of qualifiers.
Morocco, the host nation, will open their campaign against Senegal in group A. Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo are the other contenders for the knockout round in the group.

Bayana Bayana of South Africa, the defending champions, are in Group C alongside Ghana, Mali and Tanzania.
The 15th edition of the WAFCON is scheduled to take place from July 5 to 26, 2025.
The Super Falcons are the record champions of the competition, winning eleven titles out of a possible 14.
