Rivers Angels, Nigeria’s champions, have been drawn against Hasaacas of Ghana in group B of the 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League zonal qualifiers.
The draw, which was conducted virtually on Monday at the zonal headquarters in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, will see the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions and Hasaacas rekindle the rivalry between the two African countries on the field of play.
The teams on group A are Onze Soeurs de Gagnoa of Ivory Coast (host nation), Union Sportive des forces Armees of Burkina Faso, and Togo’s Friends of the World Football Club.
The first zonal qualifiers are scheduled to hold between July 17 and 30 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

With the six participating teams split into two groups of three, the top two from each group will progress to the last four of the competition.
The winners from the semi-final knock-out rounds will then head to the final to compete for the title.
Finalists will automatically qualify as representatives of the zone for the finals at the inaugural CAF WCL in Egypt.
