The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have secured a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso in the semi-final of the WAFU B tournament and booked a place in the final.
Michael Emmanuel Papo scored the winning goal for Nigeria in the 77th minute at the Stade De Kegue, Lome on Friday.
With the victory, the Fatai Amoo led team have qualified for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco later this year.

It was the Eaglets’ first win in the competition following a defeat and draw in their Group B fixtures against Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Nigeria will face the winner of the second semi-final match between Niger and Ivorians in the final on Sunday.
