Segun Ogunsanya, managing director of Airtel Nigeria, says the company wants to touch lives of less privileged members of the society.
Ogunsanya made this known on Friday, at a media briefing to announce the fourth edition of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Airtel Touching Lives.
He advised stakeholders in the society to adopt Airtel’s vision of creating empowerment opportunities and making life better for Nigerians.
“We are looking for impact, we want to touch many lives,” he said

“We can’t do it alone, but I believe with the triangle of government, NGOs, and companies we can create the kind of impact to lift people out of poverty.
“There is nothing more fulfilling than giving to someone who can never give you anything in return.”
Ogunsanya called on Nigerians to nominate individuals and causes that should benefit from the initiative this year.

“We are creating a window of opportunity,” he said.
“We received so many nominations…we will select the ones we think we are able to support.
“You can nominate individuals or projects in your communities by dialing 367 or by sending an SMS to the short code, 367.
“Also mail can be sent to [email protected]”.
