Watford FC has reached an agreement with Club Brugge to sign Emmanuel Dennis, Super Eagles forward.
The deal was announced in a short statement on the club’s website on Monday.
The club, which is newly promoted to the English Premier League (EPL), is finalising personal terms with the 23-year-old before the transfer is completed.
“An agreement with Club Brugge has been reached for the transfer of exciting young forward Emmanuel Dennis, Watford FC is delighted to confirm,” the club wrote.

“The 23-year-old Nigerian spent part of last season on loan in Germany’s Bundesliga with 1. FC Koln, having first joined the Belgian top-flight side in the summer of 2017.
“A scorer of 27 goals in just over 90 club appearances for Brugge, he has featured in both the Uefa Champions League and Uefa Europa League.
“The Hornets are currently finalising personal terms with the pacy striker – capped twice by Nigeria so far – who began his professional career with some experience as a teenager in the Ukrainian Premier League with Zorya Luhansk.”

Dennis, who made his debut for Nigeria in 2019, has played 3 times for the Super Eagles.
The versatile forward spent a part of last season on loan at Koln FC of Germany from Club Brugge.
Before the loan move, he scored 29 goals for the Belgian side, winning two Jupiler Pro League titles.
At the Vicarage Road, Dennis will be teaming up with William Troost-Ekong who joined the Hornets last summer on a five-year deal from FC Torino.
