Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his development initiatives in the north-west zone of Nigeria.

The states in the north-west are Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara.

Sani spoke on Sunday at the zone’s stakeholders meeting held in Kaduna.

He said Tinubu policies have positively impacted human capital development, agriculture, education, poverty alleviation, and infrastructural development in the north-west.

The Kaduna governor added that the president has also shown commitment to crushing insurgency and terrorism in the bandit-ridden region.

“He has been working closely with governors of the north-west and other key stakeholders to address our security and developmental challenges,” Sani said.

“Mr President’s development agenda has positively impacted the north-west zone, especially in the areas of human capital development, agriculture, education, poverty alleviation, and infrastructural development.

“We owe Mr. President a debt of gratitude for prioritising our zone and indeed other zones in the country. We shall, however, continue to run to Mr President for support and assistance because of the enormity of the developmental challenges facing the north-west.”

Sani urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the zone to continue supporting the policies and programmes of the federal government.
