Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba have commended President Bola Tinubu for nominating Sani Danladi as minister.
On Thursday, the president sent a list of 28 ministerial nominees, including Danladi, to the national assembly for screening.
Danladi was a former acting governor and deputy governor of Taraba. He is also a former senator, representing Taraba north senatorial zone.
In a statement, David Jimkuta, leader of the party in the state, said Danladi’s appointment will bring about the “much-needed unity, peace development and progress to the Taraba chapter of the APC.”

”This appointment is well-deserved and a testament to Abubakar’s commitment to serving the people of Taraba state. We also commend the president for his leadership and vision in selecting competent individuals to drive the agenda of the party at the national level,” the statement reads.
”We are expressing confidence in Abubakar’s ability to deliver on this new role as minister, to bring positive change to our dear Taraba state. We urge him to be diligent, dedicated, and proactive in fulfilling his responsibilities as minister.”
Other chieftains of the party involved in the commendation are Garba Umar UTC, a former acting governor of the state; David Sabo Kente, former gubernatorial aspirant; Yusuf A. Yusuf, former senator; Zainab Ibrahim and Muazu Jaji Sambo.

Others were Dalhatu Sangari; A.T Ibrahim; Ezekiel Afukonyo; Bobboi Kaigama; Anthony George Manzo and Jerry Manwe.
