Arsene Wenger has been hit with an FA charge due to his bust-up with Mike Dean at West Brom.
The FA charge accuses the Arsenal manager of making “abusive and improper” comments and that he also “questioned the integrity of the match referee”.
Wenger angrily confronted Dean in the referees’ dressing room after he awarded West Brom a controversial penalty on New Year’s eve at the Hawthorns.
Arsenal had been leading 1-0 before Jay Rodriguez converted the 89th-minute penalty to earn West Brom a point.

Wenger is said to have launched a tirade at Dean, an act which may earn him a ban. He was given a four-game touchline ban last season after a bust-up with Anthony Taylor.
The statement by the FA reads: “Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been charged following the West Bromwich Albion game on Sunday [31/12/17].
“It is alleged his language and/or behaviour in the match officials’ changing room after the game was abusive and/or improper and/or questioned the integrity of the match referee. He has until 6pm on Friday [05/01/18] to respond.”
