Wenger loved Walcott from the first time he watched him play

Speaking on Theo Walcott’s 10 years with Arsenal, Arsène Wenger has described the gunner as an intelligent player who has improved in his movement and teamwork.

“He’s a very intelligent player and very motivated, he’s a player who is always trying to move forward and has a positive attitude,” he said.

On how Walcott has improved in the last 10 years, Wenger said: “He’s much more conscious of his team work now, he has improved as well in his clinical finishing and he’s absolutely deadly now compared to 10 years ago.”
