West Bromwich Albion are ready to lower their demands for striker Brown Ideye from £6million to around £3.8million and facilitate a move before Monday’s transfer deadline day.
According to the Dailymail, West Brom were in talks with Qatar Super League side Al-Gharafa on Sunday night for a possible transfer of the 26-year-old who cost them a club record £10m six months ago when he joined from Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine.
Ideye has so far failed to light up the Barclays Premier League with goals and Albion are looking to recoup cash for new striker at the Hawthorns.
Al-Gharafa initially wanted the Nigerian on loan but West Brom would prefer an outright sale and are willing to cut their loss on the centre-forward who has scored just once in the league and now behind Saido Berahino and Victor Anichebe in the pecking order.

Manager Tony Pulis made enquiries for West Ham striker Carlton Cole as a possible replacement for Ideye. The London club, however, are reluctant to let Cole go without having a replacement of their own.
