The publishers of ‘Who’s Who in Diaspora: The Nigerian Story’ have announced plans to begin work on the second edition.

The publication is a compilation of professional profiles showcasing tenacity, entrepreneurial spirit, and a vast educational background of Nigerians in the diaspora.

Linda Anukwuem, initiator of the project, said the publication was conceived to honour Nigerians in the diaspora who are making significant impact in their respective fields across the globe.

She said the publication is an opportunity to document the journey of entrepreneurial and tenacious people.

“It is an opportunity for us to tell our story as it should be told and showcase profiles in various industries from across the diaspora,” the statement read.

“Recently, U.S. President Joe Biden appointed several Nigerians to his administration propelling worldwide recognition. In addition, Nigerian health professionals are leading the fight against the epidemic and played a major role in the development of the vaccine to counter COVID-19.”

The initiator also called for the submission of profiles of Nigerians in the diaspora, which will be considered for a feature in the second edition.

“Profiles should include a bio limited to 180 –200 words with name, title, company or organization name, country/state, and a professional headshot image.”

The publication will partner with professional associations, local governments, and academic institutions to identify and document Nigerian professionals.
