Simidele Adeagbo, Nigeria’s first female skeleton athlete, finished bottom place in the sport’s women heat at the Pyeongchang Winter Games on Saturday.
Adeagbo, who competed with 19 other athletes in the third and final women heat, finished last with a timing of 3:36.78 secs.
The debutante was on the same spot after the first and second run on Friday with 1:48:77 secs which obviously could not see her through the medals list.
Meanwhile, Great Britain’s Lizzy Yarnold retained the gold medal she won in Sochi in 2014 in 3:27:38 secs.
