The video which featured, Charlie Puth, crossed a billion views on YouTube in the early hours on Friday.
The Furious 7 soundtrack song was a tribute to late star, Paul Walker who died in a car crash in November 2013.
According to Mashable, this is not the first time the song has broken records.

Back in April, it broke two Spotify records, for most listens in one day and most listens in one week. It also became the No. 1 Spotify song in 26 countries.
“See You Again” is the first hip-hop song to pass the billion view mark.
Other songs in the billion view club include ‘Gangnam Style’ by Psy, ‘Baby’ by Justin Bieber and ‘Blank Space’ by Taylor Swift.
