Warri Wolves reclaimed the second position in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and are within three points of leaders Enyimba after a 3-0 win against Akwa United on Thursday.
A hat-trick from Joseph Osadiaye helped them secure the win in a match rescheduled after heavy rain rendered the pitch at the Warri City Stadium unplayable on Wednesday.
Hat-tricks have been scored at a shorter period, but Osadiaye will relish his efforts in the space of 68 minutes. And again, it was against his former club.
Osadiaye put his side ahead in the 13th minute off a corner kick from Ikechukwu Ibenegu, before doubling his tally in the 51st from yet another assist by Igbenegbu.

He saved his best for the last curling the ball into the net from outside the box for the third goal.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Konnou Paterne was sent off after a second booking in the 53rd minute.
The win took Wolves from fourth to second on 59 points, three points behind leaders Enyimba with four matches left to end the season.
