The police in Kano state have discovered the corpse of a woman who died after she was allegedly held captive by her husband for three days.
The woman — whose identity is not yet known — was said to have been tied up in a room, TheCable understands.
The incident reportedly occurred at their home in Mariri quarters in Kumbotso local government area in Kano metropolis.
It is unclear why her husband held her captive but neighbours were said to have reported to the police when they began perceiving a foul smell.
