The Women Radio Centre says it has selected 21 female journalists for the 2023 female investigative reporting training.

The Women Radio Centre is an initiative of Women Radio 91.7 FM — Nigeria’s only radio station for women and their families, with support from the MacArthur Foundation.

In a statement released on Sunday, Elizabeth Aboh, the communications officer for the centre, said the second edition of the residential training will address under-representation and under-reported issues surrounding women

Aboh said the goal is to raise the next generation of female investigative journalists and create a balance in the gender gap.
