Work and Play, and BMW Club, two of the biggest motorsport groups in Nigeria, have sealed a partnership ahead of this year’s Autofest scheduled for December 19.
The collaboration is aimed to thrill fans at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, the venue of this year’s event, with N1 million at stake for the drift and drag champion.
Adeoye Ojuoko, president of Work and Play, said the partnership resulted from the effort to help develop the motorsports industry in the country.
“2020 has been a trying year for sports generally and for a growing sport like ours, we believe that this partnership is the key for us and BMW fits into the profile and object of our group,” Ojuoko said.
