World Cup baby for Odemwingie!

Super Eagles forward Osaze Odemwingie is now the father of two sons.

His wife Sarah was wheeling their first child Noah around the garden when the strain appears to have sent her into premature labour.

But all’s well that ends well because the birth of baby Theo appears to have gone smoothly according to Odemwingie’s humorous tweet.

“My wife underrated Noah’s weight yesterday and today we became 4 but 3 weeks b4 the due date ! Named him Theo,” he announced @OdemwingieP.

Osaze was around to witness the drama because had the baby been on time he would probably have been away with Nigeria preparing for next month’s World Cup.

Odemwingie has already joked that Noah, his first son, is pencilled in to play for Stoke in 20 years after impressing in the after-match kick about following the last home game of the season.

And now it could be a case of brothers-in-arms if young Theo follows him into Stoke’s line-up in about 2034!
