Zimbabwe nation team players arrive Nigeria ahead of Super Eagles clash
The Zimbabwe national team, also known as the Warriors, has arrived in Nigeria ahead of their FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Super Eagles.
The team landed at the Muritala Mohamed International Airport on Saturday and will head to Uyo, where they will face the Super Eagles on March 25 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Zimbabwe and Nigeria are locked in Group C of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The Warriors had held Benin to a 2-2 draw at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in South Africa on Thursday, before setting out for Nigeria.

Nigeria, on the other hand, are coming from a 2-0 win against Rwanda, thanks to Victor Osimhen’s first-half brace.

The Super Eagles move up one place to fourth position with six points from five matches, while winless Zimbabwe are bottom of the group after claiming only three points from five matches.
A win for Nigeria would boost their chances of qualification, while a defeat for Zimbabwe would effectively end their slim chances of making it to the mundial.
