The Kogi governor declared that the traditional title “Obobanyi of Ihima” has been reverted to “Obobanyi of Emani”.
“Similarly, on decision number three, “Obobanyi of Ihima” in the promotional letter upgrading the stool to a first-class status was without cognizance to the fact that the title “Obobanyi of Ihima” is a subject of litigation and the court of law is yet to arrive at the possible final decision.
“As such, the government has received several petitions, calling attention to the need to revert to the status quo until the court of law decides.
“To this end, the stool is hereby reverted to “Obobanyi of Emani” and not “Obobanyi of Ihima” as the present occupant remains deposed.”
