Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi state, has appointed Justina Abandina as chairman of the State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB) in Kogi.
Ayoade Folashade, secretary to Kogi state government, announced the appointment in a statement, saying it takes immediate effect.
The statement also announced four other appointments, which are: Yakubu Oseni, as chairman of the State Board of Internal Revenue; Emmanuel Odiniya, as chairman, Bureau of Local Government Pension; Robert Achanya as director-general, Bureau of Public Private Partnership, and Moses Okezie as senior special assistant on speech writing to the governor.
Folashade said the new appointments were part of Bello’s effort to position the government and ensure equitable distribution of dividends of democracy in the state.
