Yemi Shodimu a ‘one-man army’ against Piracy

Nigerian actor and broadcaster Yemi Shodimu has been on a one-man mission to sanitise the streets of Lagos of pirated movies.

For the past few days, Yemi has taken it upon himself to accost street vendors in Lagos peddling pirated movies. He has been  posting evidence of his one-man raids on social media with seized copies of Kunle Afolayan’s movie October 1 and AY’s 30 Days in Atlanta.

He is also calling on other concerned Nigerians to join him on his mission.

“Time to ignore government and wage the war ourselves. I seized these pirated copies of October 1 and others in the traffic today. Please join in this war. Seize yours and post on fb. Let’s stop the madness NOW,” he wrote on Facebook.
