YOUR SAY: What does Oshiomhole want?

He has done it again — Adams Oshiomhole, governor of Edo state, has fired yet another shot at the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Speaking to the media on Monday, he said American officials told him during the recent trip to the US that a minister under Jonathan cornered $6 billion.

Oshiomhole did not name the minister – and Nigerians would be left to guess who the person is. But given his recent public spat with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former minister of finance, and fierce outbursts against the PDP, many Nigerians will be asking if there was something personal between the Edo governor and officials of the Jonathan administration, or if he was just being honest with in his pronouncements.

What is your take on Oshiomhole’s outbursts? Is it righteous anger or pettiness? Is he fighting the cause of transparency or taking a pound of flesh? You can tell us what you think by voting and leaving a comment.

  1. Nigerians should be careful don’t listen to what American says now cos they want to cause confusion since you rejected gay marriage law.

  2. Anybody who knows Oshiomhole and has followed his antecedents from Labour to the Government House should know the real Oshiomhole.

  3. He married a new queen. He just want to please his new wife and his in-laws that he is relevant in Nigeria.

  4. He is making up with his mouth what he lacks in physical height. Peple living with one form of physical deficiency often look for some other area of ‘strength’ in themselves they use as weapon to attack their imaginary enemies. Whenever Adams opens his mouth and spews out such ‘tough’ nonsense, it gives him some sort of psychological kick. It is this same frame of mind that made marry a tall and light complexion skiny beauty from a foreign land in contrast to his physical looks. It’s a psychological thing. Today it is Dr Mrs Okonjo Iweala that is the ‘enemy’, tomorrrow it could be Buhari, Tinubu, Oyegun or even Amaechi, depending on which direction the political confiuration may change unfavorably for him.
