One hundred and eight former senators elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have celebrated Abdullahi Ganduje, national chair of the party, on his 74th birthday.

In a statement on Monday, Basheer Lado, a former Kano senator and convener of the group, said Ganduje has displayed “exemplary leadership” as national chair of the APC.

Lado said because of Ganduje, the party is now stronger in the south-east geopolitical zone.

“On behalf of the 108 APC Non-Serving Senators, we extend warm birthday wishes to you, celebrating the exemplary leadership you have displayed as our national chairman,” he said.
