The board of directors of Zenith Bank Plc has approved the group audited consolidated and separate financial statements for 2020.
This was announced in a notice signed by Micheal Osilama Otu, company secretary, and filed at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
Otu said the board considered and approved the results at its meeting on Thursday.
He said the board also approved payment of a final dividend, subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The bank said the NSE, as well as the investing public, would be notified upon receipt of the approval of the CBN of the group audited consolidated and separate financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2020.
For the 12-month period that ended on December 31, 2019, Zenith Bank announced a profit after tax (PAT) of N208.8 billion, becoming the first Nigerian bank to cross the N200 billion mark.
In December 2020, Zenith Bank was named Nigeria’s bank of the year at the 2020 Banker’s Bank of the Year Awards.

In July, The Banker Magazine named Zenith Bank the number one bank in Nigeria by tier-1 capital in the 2020 Top 1000 world banks ranking.
