Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has promised to fix the problem of cloning of identities on the social media platform, according to Abike Dabiri, senior special assistant to the president on foreign relations and diaspora.
She said the tech guru made the promise in Abuja on Friday.
Zuckerberg was in Abuja to meet President Muhammadu Buhari, and to also attend the grand finale of Aso Villa Demo Day, a programme to encourage young entrepreneurs.
However, Dabiri, who also attended the programme, said when she met the billionaire businessman, she complained to him that there were 11 Facebook accounts opened in her name, and he assured her that the issue would be looked into.
