Former President Jacob Zuma and his family are in a state of mourning following the death of Vusi Zuma, son of the ex-president.
Vusi reportedly died at the Milpark hospital in Johannesburg.
According to reports, Vusi, who was the youngest son of Zuma and his late wife, Kate Mantsho, who committed suicide in 2000, died on Sunday night after a short illness.
Vukile Mathabela, the media liaison at the presidency, said details of Vusi’s death would be released later in the day, once a family spokesperson is appointed.

His children are mostly involved in politics, the private sector and the entertainment industry, the most infamous being Duduzane Zuma.
After nine years in power, Zuma resigned on February 14, when his party, African National Congress, asked him to step down due to corruption scandals.

However, Zuma claims the charges against him were politically motivated.
