John Facciola, a federal judge in the United States, has ordered 45 days of psychiatric testing and treatment on Dominic Adesanya, the 23-year-old Nigerian, who was arrested for scaling the White House fence on October 22.

Adjourning the case to December 22, Facciola had ruled that Adesanya was incompetent to stand trial.

Adesanya had attacked secret service guard dogs that brought him down near the North Lawn of the White House, where he made his illegal entry.

The father of the suspect attributed his behaviour to mental disorderliness.

“It’s hard to be in your house and not know if the person you’re living with is trustworthy and to know that they’re mentally disturbed like he is,” Adesanya’s father told ABC2.

The father, who was absent at the court during the trial, said no attention was given to him when sought for assistance over his son’s mental state.

While the trial lasted, Adesanya reportedly got visibly disturbed.

He was said to have struggled with US Marshals as they tried to lead him away at the end of the proceeding.

CNN quoted him as saying, “Stop, you’re not gonna do this to me!

“Somebody help me, please!, it’s a scheme! Help me! Help me!”

In recent times, issues bordering around security breach have been recorded at the White House.
